A woman has given birth to a baby girl yesterday during the international flight of Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) travelling from Madinah of Saudi Arabia to Multan, Pakistan. As soon as PIA informed public about this miracle, people were amazed with the news.

“Miracles happen everyday and we had our little miracle today onboard our flight PK 716 from Madinah to Multan,” the statement issued by the PIA’s official Twitter account.

“A beautiful baby girl was born! We congratulate the proud parents on the new arrival and a big kudos to our cabin crew for their amazing emergency response. #PIA” – further stated by the Pakistan International Airlines via their social media account.

It showed that the cabin crew also helped with the delivery and it’s totally appreciable that PIA’s crew carefully handled the situation.

Though there were many good wishes and congratulatory messages been given by the public but many people raised questions at the Pakistan International Airlines for allowing the woman who appeared to be full-term to travel.

Congratulatory messages and remarks of appreciation

Here comes the critical response

Now it’s all clear

Oh! Some doubts

People are also asking whether the airline will give free service to the newly born just like an Indian airline?

However, things become further clear when the spokesperson of PIA, Mashood Tajwar told to The Express Tribune that, “the mother of baby wasn’t appeared to be full-term at the time of travelling and was also given a go-ahead to travel to Multan by the doctors; that’s why she was allowed to travel.”

Further Tajwar said that, “the medical professionals from Civil Aviation had also informed PIA that the delivery was actually premature.”

So, it has been concluded that the criticism on PIA was totally baseless and people should first check the facts before pointing fingers at others.

We are always quick to discourage Pakistan International Airlines for their poor service and low standards and yes, that’s for all the right reasons.

But we should also appreciate them when they truly deserve the praise and this time Pakistan International Airlines deserved it all. So, kudos to PIA and its crew for taking the responsibility rather than backing off and lastly, all the best wishes and congratulations to the family of newly born.
