Darren Sammy, the captain of Pakistan Super League’s team, Peshawar Zalmi and a great cricketer of West Indies is loved in Pakistan just like any other Pakistani player.
The reason is simple and clear; Sammy never leaves a single moment to win the Pakistanis’ hearts with his super cool and amazing nature.
From being friendly with Pakistanis to showing love to Pakistan’s culture, Darren Sammy has now got a specific place in most of the Pakistani people’s hearts.
Recently, this country has witnessed the emotional Sammy acting like a great sportsman at even Peshawar Zalmi’s defeat at the ground of Karachi in the PSL’s final of 2018.
This melted everyone’s heart; Sammy before leaving Pakistan also thanked Karachi and Lahore for all the love that people of these cities have given to him.
However, it seems like, that Darren Sammy loves to play pranks on others. So, he did the same this April Fools’ Day and took to Instagram to prank everyone.
He posted by giving a news that he will be heading to Pakistan in the Maroon which obviously means that he would be playing in Pakistan from the side of West Indies as the series between Pakistan and West Indies is going on here.
After a while, Sammy posted that it was just an April Fools’ Day prank but he was amazed to see that so many people want to see him back.
But what happened next was hilarious as most of the Pakistanis thought that Sammy will be actually coming to Pakistan and for all the right reasons they got excited but oh well, they got pranked actually.
That’s how Pakistanis reacted on the first post which was prank actually.
But as soon as Sammy posted that the whole thing was just a prank, Pakistanis realized that they also became the target of Sammy’s April Fools’ Day prank which is hilarious.
And that’s how Pakistanis reacted on the second post in which Sammy apprised that the former post about heading to Pakistan in the Maroon was an April Fools’ Day prank.
However, this also shows that Pakistanis so badly want Darren Sammy to be back in Pakistan and it’s really pleasing.
