DG ISPR Asif Ghafoor Replied To Indian Media For Talking Against Afridi

Pakistan’s famous cricketer Shahid Afridi, on Tuesday, tweeted on Kashmir issue by condemning the atrocities in the Indian Occupied Kashmir (IOK).

Questioning the Untied Nations (UN) and the international bodies, Shahid wrote, “Appalling and worrisome situation ongoing in the Indian Occupied Kashmir.

Innocents being shot down by oppressive regime to clamp voice of self-determination and independence.

Wonder where is the UN and other international bodies and why aren’t they making efforts to stop this bloodshed?”

Afridi’s tweet eventually irked many across the border, including, the Indian media and their batsman Gautam Gambhir.

The Indian batsman criticized Afridi and stated, “Media called me for reaction on Shahid Afridi’s tweet on OUR Kashmir and UN. What’s there to say?

Afridi is only looking for UN which in his retarded dictionary means “UNDER NINTEEN” his age bracket. Media can relax, Shahid Afridi is celebrating a dismissal off a no- ball!”

Things didn’t end there and Indian media started talking against Afridi too. Indians and Pakistanis also jumped in the debate and arguments on arguments started.

Then Pakistan’s DG ISPR, Asif Ghafoor replied to the trash talk against Afridi from his personal Twitter account and to be honest, the replies are so accurate.

DG ISPR replied to Indian media by a tweet and then with a picture and finally with a video of Asia Cup’s match in which Afridi hit back to back sixes against Indian and then Pakistan won the match eventually. DG ISPR captioned the video with, “And that’s how Shahid Afridi did.”

Meanwhile Shahid also retweeted Asif Ghafoor’s tweet and tweeted another photo of himself with the Indian fans holding their flag with quite a rational message.

Shahid wrote, “We respect all. And this is an example as sportsman. But when it comes to human rights we expect the same for our innocent Kashmiris.”

Shahid’s tweet speaks the truth and is all about something very rational. However, Asif Ghafoor replied from his personal account and not official, so we all should clearly take his tweets as his personal views which speak the mind and thoughts of all the Pakistanis.

However, according to the Pakistan Today, on Sunday, at least 19 Kashmiri civilians were killed by the Indian military forces during a search operation.

So, we can’t deny the atrocities happening in IOK and it’s responsiblity of everyone to talk against brutality and so does Shahid did.
