Parwaaz Hai Junoon is the upcoming Pakistani movie which is a tribute to the Pakistan Air Force (PAF) and comprised of the extremely talented cast.
After the release of the posters and teasers of the film, great things are expected from this highly anticipated movie.
However, very recently, as reported by the Express Tribune, a team member of the movie has sent a legal notice to the producers of the movie.
According to the Express Tribune, the wardrobe stylist of Parwaaz Hai Junoon, Samoor Rehman has filed a case against the production house, MD Productions.
Samoor Rehman stated that Osman Gillani, the vice president of the MD Films didn’t mention his name as a wardrobe stylist in the credits of the teasers of the movie that were released few days before.
While talking to the Express Tribune Samoor Rehman said, “The movie’s shoot was completed and the producer of the film later ended the contract without any prior notice over a telephone call that no further styling is required for the movie.
My commitment to the film was rightful and I dedicated my time and hard-work with loyalty and it is evident from my work.
I first went to the office to know why my name was not mentioned in the first teaser. The production head, Mahesh Waswani, apologised and said that he would include it in the next teaser but it was not mentioned in the second teaser either.
Upon receiving no response, I went ahead with lawful proceedings by sending a court notice. The first hearing of the case will be held, on Monday, April 30.”
Samoor has also claimed further according to the Express Tribune that the production head of Parwaaz Hai Junoon assured him that since he had provided the services of the wardrobe stylist for the whole film so he would be credited.
However, Parwaaz Hai Junoon looked a promising movie and we hope that the things for the movie turn out to be great.
On the other hand, it’s important that injustice shouldn’t be done to anyone and rightful plus deserving people should be credited. Also, irresponsibility and unprofessionalism should be avoided by everyone.
