Procrastinating Marriage In Islam Is Restricted!!! Every Muslim Needs To Know About It

Marriage has very importance in islam. It has been given a great stature. You can estimate the importance of marriage from the sayings of Holy Prophet (S.A.W.W) that, “No house has been built in Islam more beloved in the sight of Allah than through marriage.”  He further said that, “The best people of my nation (Ummat) are those who get married and have chosen their wives, and the worst people of my nation are those who have kept away from marriage and are passing their lives as bachelors.” So that’s clear from these sayings of Holy Prophet (s.a.w.w) that marriage holds immense importance. Besides this islam also restricted the procrastinating in marriages.

When people engaged their child, andc when it came to know that the man and women are going to live with each other, they must have to do one thing immediately that is “NIKKAH” if they delay the process this is sinful. Mufti musa menk says a lot about delaying the marriage

Marriage – Mufti Menk (lecture notes)

When people engaged ( man and women ) so obviously they cannot wait for longer period of time to live without each other i.e two too three years, must be four years. They make plans and did excuses to get together with each other and by doing meetups they say that she is expecting….  this is very sinful that every muslim should know about it. They must have to do nikkah before any meeting or get together. see this video below

this is happening in our society, i dont know where is awareness lost.. the mufti also says that if both (men and women ) engaged do “nikkah” right after that can be delayed but get the nikkah done. Allah has given freedom and time for men to stand on his feet and man make strong himself financialy or if girl wants to continue her studies. moulana further said that delaying marriage without a valid reason once the parties have agreed to marry leads to unnecessary sin. The marriage should be solemnized quickly in order to allow the newly weds to start their new life in the most pure manner.

Share it with your friends and families, so that they know about the teachings of nikkah in islam.
