Almost after 35 years later Saudi Arabia is having first Cinema which will be opening in Capital, Riyadh. On 18th of April, it has been announced to Open the first ever Cinema of Saudi Arabia.
Saudi Government announced to life ban on cinemas in December 2017, after 35 years they’ve decided to allow films to be screened.
The movie cinema won’t be separated gender wise like many public places are in Saudi Arabia. Officials have announced to open 40 cinema halls by 2023 in different cities and about 50 to 100 cinemas in 25 cities till 2030.

Saudi Government imposed a ban on movies in early 1980s while still people had access to NETFLIX so they decided to lift ban.
The first movie to be screened in cinema would be Black Panther.
